Losing Faith And Hebrew Poetry
Hard to believe that it is Friday again and new month is almost upon us. Where has the year gone? It has been a busy, and fruitful week. On a personal note, my twins have their first holy communion tomorrow. I was blessed to be their teacher this year and help prepare them. Please keep my kids, and the rest of my students in your prayers. Also a big congratulations go out to my sister Krissy and my broither-in-law Aaron. They welcomed their second child into the world yesterday. Mom and baby are doing great!
As I noted last week, I was honored to be a guest on the a guest on the Strange Catholics podcast. It was a lot of fun and my great hosts posted the episode yesterday. Please take a listen here and subscribe to their show.
There has been no news from publishers on the book, but that is to be expected. The typical time to hear is 8-10 weeks and we are coming up on week seven. So time will tell.
My website has had a nice increase in traffic this week. I have been trying to post something everyday, but this week the top article was actually a two part series about Hebrew poetry. Specifically looking at these books and seeing Jesus in them. It is an interesting study that I am sure you will enjoy. Please check them out here and here.
Work on the podcast has also been busy. In addition to posting two episodes, I also had two great interviews. One was with J.M. Kraemer of the Lego Church Project, and the other is with my friend Kristin Van Tilberg. Look for those interviews to be posted over the next 7-10 days. With that in mind the podcast with the most listens was my interview with Marek Rudak about catholic manhood. Check it out here.
Can a Christian lose their salvation? This is a question I asked Ken Litchfield. We had a 45 minute discussion about the topic and it is the top Youtube video of the week.
As always I thank you for your support. God bless you all.
In Christ,
William
